If you are into fitness and enjoy water sports, come try dragon boat racing with the Tampa Bladerunners! Founded in 2005, TBDBC is a sports club formed by paddlers that competed on their respective corporate teams at the annual Tampa Bay International Dragon Boat Races. These paddlers wanted an avenue to practice year round and compete at events around Florida and the country. Since it's founding, TBDBC has consistently been one of the most competitive dragon boat racing teams in the country, attaining multiple SRDBA Regional Championships, competing at USDBF National Championships, and sending multiple club members to the IDBF World and Club Crew Championships (2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2023) as part of Team USA and Team Puerto Rico.
