Tampa Bay Dragon Boat Club

Tampa Bay Dragon Boat Club was formed in 2005. Paddlers from corporate racing teams began practicing together and formed the Club as a way to have year round dragon boating. The Club first raced together in April 2006.

Our racing teams are the Blade Runners. We enter races throughout Florida and also outside the State of Florida in an effort to reach a higher level of competitive racing.

We practice 3 days a week all year except December.

Our Coach is Dennis Tarnopolski who until recently paddled with the premier Canadian team, Team Chiro. He coaches us from January – May.

Tampa Bay Dragon Boat Club has a mutually supportive relationship with the Tampa Bay Dragon Boat Institute.
